Sevilla is said to be ready to test Chelsea's attitude about their desire to maintain Michy Batshuayi. Reports revealed by Estadio Deportivo say that Sevilla is looking for a brand-new striker and they want to try to persuade the Belgian players to leave Chelsea this month. The La Liga club had previously failed in their bid to land Stevan Jovetic (Inter Milan) and Carlos Bacca (AC Milan), and eventually made them now direct radar to Batshuayi.
A local source said Sevilla had made the Belgians their priority this summer. However, given manager Antonio Conte only has Alvaro Morata as an alternative, it looks like Italian men would not be too happy to release Batshuayi. The former Marseille striker had inhabited the bench last season. Had rumored going away from the club, he came down as a starter when the team lost to Arsenal in the Community Shield last week. This is not apart from the status of Diego Costa, who was expelled from Stamford Bridge in the summer. Even so, it looks like Conte will prefer to play Morata as the main striker next season, once the former Real Madrid striker is back fit.
